A small town situated in the district of Satara, a western Indian state in Maharashtra, Phaltan is a well irrigated area with rich fertile soil that has been a livelihood to many generations of farming community in our country. Traditional crops such as Red &Yellow Onions, Sugarcanes, Pomegranates and Corns are all grown on these lands but somehow, the farmers’ community was never satisfied. They always strived to do something which was, as we say, “Out-Of-Crop”. They wanted to experiment by growing newer crops for new markets such as Jalapeños, Gherkins and White Onions. As a company, Kuroli Foods has always made an effort to connect with local people and farmers in our town. After knowing their side, we decide to take a leap of faith and plunge into fulfilling the farmer aspirations. Our team of experts, proficient in agronomy are working for the betterment of our farming community by implementing the best of the agriculture practices. Our Farmers
We started our new journey with getting on board 250 farmers and forming a Farmers Association. Kuroli Food became an ideal platform for farmers in and around Phaltan. We kept our focus on the betterment of our farming community and tried implementing the best of agricultural practices by providing guidance on new crops, along with constant improvement in our cultivation technology. By carefully studying the quality of our soil and different climatic conditions, we introduced products like Jalapeños, Baby corn, Sweet corn, French beans, etc. Wherein the seeds are provided by Kuroli Foods.
Our State-of-the-Art Processing Unit
To keep growing, one has to constantly keep learning and improvising. Hence, we regularly conduct workshops on agriculture and horticulture. Agricultural experts have been appointed to make regular visits to farms and studying the soils and crops quality. They also speak with farmers and help guide them. New challenges are faced head-on and any improvements required, are dealt with great proficiency.
At Kuroli Foods, we offer a state-of-the-art processing unit that operates as per BRCGS
standards with BRCGS certification. Our processing unit is located in the vicinity of the rich
fertile farmlands to minimize travel time and expenses. The unit is powered with all the
latest technologies, modern equipment and follows superior and stringent hygiene
practices.
Kuroli Foods has a processing line for Blast freezing, Canning, bottling, and pulping with all
the modern machinery. The daily production capacity is 8-10 MT, and yearly, we produce
3000 MT of Frozen, Canned & processed Vegetables & Fruits.
Our factory linked cold storage unit has 250 MT capacity, and we also have other cold
storage warehouses of 3000 MT Capacity.
As a result, all the food remains fresh with a high-quality assurance for our customers.
